Data delivery
Data delivery is how a finished dataset reaches the person or system that uses it, for example a cloud storage bucket, a database, a spreadsheet or an API endpoint.
Data delivery is how a finished dataset reaches the person or system that uses it, for example a cloud storage bucket, a database, a spreadsheet or an API endpoint. It matters because the same underlying data is useless if it arrives somewhere nobody checks, or in a format nothing downstream can read. Common delivery targets for e-commerce data include S3 or GCS buckets, warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake, a PostgreSQL database, Google Sheets for smaller teams, flat CSV or JSON files, or a REST API webhook for systems that need to react immediately. Matching the delivery method to how the data will actually be used, a dashboard versus a pipeline, matters as much as the data itself.
